In the final stop on their whirlwind media tour following their jaw-dropping performance at the 2017 AMAs, BTS made an appearance on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden.

Fresh off the success of their open-air mini concert streamed for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Rap Monster, Suga and V proved they were game for doing ANYTHING to entertain their stateside #ARMY– including bracing for impact as pieces of fruit were blasted at their faces.

“You know that they are cool on the surface, but we’re going to test their steely nerves in a game that we call ‘Flinch,'” said Corden as he transitioned into the game show-styled segment. The K-pop global sensation was split into multiple groups of two or three and then instructed to stand behind a sheet of Plexiglass as whole pieces of fruit were launched at their faces–and they weren’t allowed to flinch.

In the first pairing, Jin and J-Hope brazenly paraded their lack of fear for the camera but proved to be defenseless against the sudden shock.

Next up, Jungkook and V proved at least half of their team had the stony resilience necessary to beat the game:

In the third and final test, Jimin, Suga and RM gathered behind the glass and attempted to “pull the coolest pose and not flinch.”

Nice try, boys.

In a reaction that surprised no one, BTS’ dedicated fanbase known as #ARMY flocked to Twitter to show their support for the fun, lighthearted segment:

The boy band also didn’t pass up another opportunity to perform and treated the audience to another “DNA” spectacle–watch the full video below:
