Okay, we’re stepping pretty far into speculative territory here, but rumor has it that Christopher Nolan is being tied in some way to the upcoming twenty fifth James Bond movie.
You might have noticed that all’s been quiet with regards to James Bond recently. If Sony Pictures is actively working on a new movie in the franchise, they’re being incredibly coy about the whole project.
Finally, though, after months of speculation and rumors, we have something solid – Christopher Nolan’s production company, Syncopy, has been listed on IMDb Pro as being connected to the movie, apparently by a verified and authenticated source of industry information.

So what’s going on here? Has Nolan been formally hired to direct the next James Bond?
That’s the obvious conclusion that it’s fun to jump to here, but we don’t yet know for certain. If this connection between Syncopy and James Bond proves accurate, it could simply mean that Nolan is consulting on the project, or that other members of his team are lending their expertise to Sony for the movie.
It’s hard not to be excited at the prospect of the Batman Begins director bringing a similar fresh take to the world’s most famous super spy, but it’s probably for the best if we don’t count on this any time soon.
No matter how fun it would be to discover a third act plot twist in the form of James Bond’s evil twin.
