If there's one thing that the TV series Game of Thrones and its novel counterparts have in common, it's not just a willingness, but an absolute love for completely jerking around their fans. Of course, that includes even the little things like episode titles and summaries.
The first episode of the sixth season is entitled "The Red Woman" and it's pretty much going to really focus on Melisandre, and that's probably the only part of this information that is direct without toying with us. But what's even funnier about all this is the summary, which has some of the driest wit this side of the BBC.
"Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again." Which, OK, f*ck you HBO, you're not even being serious. Jon Snow is probably going to be dead for the entire episode, after which Melisandre is going to resurrect him. It's obviously going to happen.
And as far as Cersei seeing her daughter again, well, that's one way to phrase it, considering at the end of last season we saw Myrcella poisoned by Ellaria Sand. So she's going to be seeing a corpse, which is going to be super fun for everyone involved.
Jon Snow is not going to stay dead. So we can be annoyed at how they're playing with us until April 24 when they finally go, "Yeah, OK, he's alive again."
