Who wants to read the script of Wonder Woman, if it had been written by the director of The Avengers?
Thanks to the power of the internet, you can do just that, as well as gaining some insight into the upcoming Batgirl movie that Whedon will be directing.
Joss Whedon’s version of Wonder Woman didn’t ever make it that far with DC Entertainment, and the director was instead snapped up by rival company Marvel to make The Avengers. The script, though, shows a story that isn’t altogether different from what audiences will be getting with Patty Jenkins’ version of Wonder Woman, albeit with some twists.
Whedon’s version of Wonder Woman doesn’t take place during World War I, and instead of fighting god of war Ares, Diana Prince faces off against Strife, the goddess of chaos.
For those who enjoy learning about the process behind making movies, this script, and the rest of the resources provided by Indieground Films, is a great way to learn more about what goes into the typical Hollywood blockbuster, and what cancelled projects exist that might have seen the light of day, had events played out a little differently.
