It’s the Grinch that stole Kim Kardashian’s chances of becoming the next celebrity to play spokesperson for a weight loss brand…
According to a new report, the reality TV star is having a little trouble winning over the hearts of companies like Jenny Craig and Medifast. The weight loss giants apparently have no interest in having Kim’s face (or booty) as their next celebrity symbol.
TMZ reports that both companies have said no way to helping Queen K drop her baby weight, citing that the reality star isn’t “real” enough to rep them.
Tell that to her 17 million Twitter followers and her $40 million dollar empire… Seems pretty REAL to me.
Anyway, it appears as though Kim will be on her own when it comes to dropping her baby poundage.
It’s unclear whether or not she’s actually sought out a deal with either company—in other words, she probably doesn’t care anyway.
She did, however, endorse Quick Trim last year when her image appeared on the brand’s “Extreme Burn” products.
One person that does fall into Jenny Craig’s perplexing definition of “real” is Mariah Carey. The company tells TMZ that they “will continue our working relationship” with the new ‘American Idol’ judge.
Meanwhile, in the non-contractual world, Kim Kardashian seems to be looking forward to the challenges of motherhood.
“I wouldn’t say it’s been easy,” she told ET. “When people say that pregnancy is fun and they love it, I would have to disagree. Even my sister has made it look easy, but it’s not as easy as people think. I heard it’s all worth it, so I’m looking forward to that.”
