Did you hear the collective screams of 20-somethings all across America just now?

Nick Carter made every millennial’s childhood dream come true when he danced to his former boy band’s smash hit ‘Everybody’ on this week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars.

The theme of the night was “most memorable year,” and Nick brought us back to the wonderful year that was 1992, in which he first met the Backstreet Boys when he was just 12-years old!

Nick gets pretty emotional while talking about how the Backstreet Boys basically saved his life: “I came from a dysfunctional family," he explained. "There was a lot of fighting in our household and it broke my heart, you know. I never could fix my family. I really wanted to have that movie mom and dad, that movie family, that when you watch them…and I didn't get that. It was hard for me. It was really hard, and I don't know why I'm crying, this is ridiculous."

Nick added, “The boys saved me. They loved and treated me like a true brother."

Aww!

Carter and his partner, Sharna Burgess, scored a 27/30 with the routine.

BRB watching it over and over.

And for nostalgia purposes, here’s the original video:
