It’s hard to believe but Taylor Swift’s squad just got cooler.
With the huge success of the 25-year-old’s “Bad Blood” video, we got to thinking: What if Taylor’s squad was made up of ACTUAL superheroes? It makes sense, right? After all, the action-packed video imagines her all-star friends as badass Sin City-esque personas.
Los Angeles designer and illustrator extraordinaire, Michael Nozinich took Taylor Swift's famous squad, like Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss, and immortalized them as actual superheroes — and the outcome is astounding.
It’s easy to see why Taylor is Supergirl. She's funny, quirky, and the ultimate girl next door. Taylor’s influence is seen and felt across the globe. She’s the leader of her pack and can effortlessly do practically anything. She fights for justice in the music industry. She’s an American icon.
The rest of the squad is just as badass.
Selena Gomez as Wonder Woman.
Much like the character, Selena is a warrior. She battles heartbreak and stands up to her haters; she can do anything.
Lorde as Huntress.
The singer/songwriter is dark, mysterious and edgy; just like the badass superhero Huntress.
Serayah McNeill as Batgirl.
Batgirl is all about taking charge, just like actress and singer Serayah McNeill does on "Empire." She's a badass independent chick who's not going to wait around for someone else to do the job.
Karlie Kloss as Catwoman.
She's mysterious, sultry, and has graced the sexiest catwalk of all time at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Hayley Williams as Poison Ivy.
The Paramore frontwoman is fierce and independent with the ability to control a crowd with her voice, much like how Poison Ivy uses pheromones to control the minds of those around her.
Hailee Steinfeld as Zatanna.
The young actress is witty and bubbly and is all about following her own path and self love. Have you heard her latest single? So powerful!
Gigi Hadid as Harley Quinn.
Gigi is playful, down to earth, and can hang with anyone. She's spontaneous and effortlessly gorgeous with a hint of tomboy mixed in.
We’ll just call them the Super Squad from now on.
