The “Modern Family” star might just be on the verge of adding to her real life family soon.
Sofia Vergara, the woman famous for her exaggerated curves and accent, might be having a baby in the near future. A new report claims that the Colombian goddess is planning a baby with fiancé Nick Loeb via surrogate.
The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Sofia, who currently has a 21-year-old son, Manolo, is in the very early stages of becoming a mom again.
A source told the gossip generator: “A baby is something they’ve both wanted for a while, particularly Nick, who has been pushing for it. He is a little uneasy that the surrogate is Sofia’s close friend, but is very excited about becoming a father.”
In terms of who will carry the little Latin spud, Sofia is tapping into her besties list.
“The child will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby,” the source added. “she has selected a surrogate — who is a very close girlfriend — to carry the baby.”
While the baby seems to be the result of her husband-to-be’s initiative, Sofia has never been completely opposed to having another child.
And anyone that follows her role on the ABC comedy series will note that her character, Gloria, just had a child. Perhaps this is a classic case of life imitating art…
