You can’t think of reality television without thinking of Kim Kardashian or MTV "The Hills" stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
But would you believe that before the Kardashians became reality royalty, they worked with Speidi? Or at least were asked to.
In an in-depth interview with Complex magazine, the former “Hills” stars explain how the Kardashians not only were BFFs with the couple in the past, but that Spencer was even asked to be Kim’s manager.
Before Kim had the empire she runs today, Spencer was supposedly approached by Kris Jenner to jumpstart Kim’s career and be her manager. At the time, Spencer was starring in the reality show “The Princes of Malibu” with Brody Jenner.
"She can deny it if she wants, but she comes up to me and is like, ‘Spencer, I want you to manage Kim.’ I literally started laughing," he said. "What is this lady talking about?"
Before the Kardashians got their own reality show Spencer and Heidi even said Kim was on the “Hills” but was cut out of an episode.
"[Kim] used to call Heidi to organize Heidi’s closet," he said. "Kim was edited out of 'Hills' episodes organizing Heidi’s closet. Now it’s like, 'Kim Kardashian breaks the Internet with her booty.' Like, what the f**k? That’s real life for us.”
If you recall, before Kim had any sort of notoriety she organized the closets of A-list stars like Paris Hilton. It looks like someone is a little bitter about Kim’s success since the couple is now living in the shadows of their former reality star friends.
Not only does Spencer low-key shade Kim, he also lashes out at her sister Kylie Jenner!
While Spencer and Heidi admit they have been honest about everything they have done in their careers, some people in the entertainment world have not.
“Is that what you wanted? I would have loved to lie to everyone,” Spencer said before he went on to shade Kylie by claiming she’s lying about her lips and boobs. “All of these other celebrities get to do it all day long. Then everyone’s like, 'Oh! What bra is it? So you just put the liner above the lip?'”
You can guess who's laughing all the way to the bank now.
