The Best Part About the “Jurassic World 2” Teaser is Chris Pratt’s Adorable Run

Universal Pictures has presented us with a first, brief look at “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”, and it looks pretty awesome.

There’s big dinosaurs, some kind of volcanic explosion, and all our favorite characters from the first “Jurassic World”.

Plus, the greatest gift of all: footage of Chris Pratt running.

Seriously, watch this clip a few times and just focus on Pratt’s adorable goofy run.

Well, “run” might be a generous word. Pratt’s acting may suggest that he’s in mortal danger, but he’s actually going for a light jog.

This isn’t to criticize Pratt’s running at all. There are a lot of factors that would lead to him taking things easy while running.

Pratt’s not allowed to outpace the children while running, and has to stay within the movie’s frame. That means taking it slow even as he pretends to run for his life.

Plus, let’s face it, not everybody does quite as good a job at running on-screen as Tom Cruise.

Beyond the joys of Pratt’s cute running, there are a few little teasers for the plot of “Jurassic World 2” hidden in this short clip.

The plot of this movie has been kept more or less under wraps for the duration of its production time, and the studio hasn’t seen fit to tell us what will actually happen in the movie.

All we know is that, supposedly, this movie will see dinosaurs that are bred for military service. There had been a hope that “Jurassic World 2” would avoid simply sending all the main characters back to the abandoned theme park, yet again, for some contrived reason.

It turns out that we’ll be heading back to Jurassic World at least briefly in this next movie, as this clip seems to take place on the ruins of the park – hence the presence of one of those cool bubble cart things from “Jurassic World” the first.

Here’s hoping that we get some new ideas in this film, and that it won’t end up being as pointless and poorly written as “The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2”.

Whatever happens, at least we’ll have Chris Pratt’s beautiful little run to keep us entertained as he tries to escape a pack of genetically enhanced super dinosaurs.
