Just in case you were in any doubt as to how well The Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin fits the Thor mythos, a new fan trailer by AOK has tweaked the lyrics to the classic facemelter ever so slightly, creating the perfect description of everything you need to know about Thor: Ragnarok.

The original trailer for Ragnarok broke records for being the most-viewed trailer in recent history, so there are plenty of people who are familiar with this first glimpse at the movie.

The AOK video goes deeper than just recreating the original trailer frame for frame, though. Instead, there’s a lot of behind the scenes information here that blends seemlessly with the action, including director Taika Waititi convincing Hulk to ride a unicycle as part of his “more comedic background”, and the lighter tone he’s aiming for in the movie that the video claims will “breathe some life at this point in the franchiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiise”.

Basically, if you’re a fan of the Thor movies, and you’re eager to see a beautiful if somewhat bizarre reflection of the hype that we’re all experiencing in the lead-up to Ragnarok, you’ll want to check out this video.

Thor: Ragnarok has surpised existing Marvel audiences with its colorful, brighter storytelling. The Thor franchise is a rarity in the MCU, in that it’s never quite found its feet in the same way that the Iron Man and Captain America movies have managed. As such, audiences are hoping that Taika Waititi will manage to create something a little more eyecatching and enjoyable than the previous attempts.

In the meantime, we’ve got this sweet animated trailer to enjoy.
