If you thought that combining Doritos and Taco Bell was the best thing ever, wait until you get a load of this.

Mexican food fans in the Philippines now have the opportunity to enjoy a quesadilla that’s stuffed full of tasty Cheetos, because there’s no unholy mixture of junk food that Taco Bell won’t try.

Unlike some bizarre Asian alternative menu options for popular fast food restaurants (we’re looking at you, Japanese McDonald’s), this actually sounds like something that would go down pretty well in the United States, so depending on the popularity of the dish, it’s probably only a matter of time before something similar arrives on closer shores.

Early reports of the quesadilla, which is filled with little more than jalapeno flavored Cheetos and a lot of cheese, suggests that this is actually pretty good, especially by Taco Bell standards.

Of course, it’s difficult to get a decent Mexican meal outside of the American continent, so fans might simply be appreciating any new attempt to bring spicy cheese dishes to the Asian islands.

The good news for those who want to try this for themselves is that the recipe is hardly difficult to replicate – just get a bag of Cheetos, some cheese, and a tortilla, and you’re on your way to an authentic Filipino quesadilla.
