Simplify it : this is the easiest of rubs and will work with any protein or vegetable.
Easy All-Purpose Grilling Rub
- 1/4 cup coarse salt (kosher or sea)
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
Note: If desired, add cayenne or chili pepper. Amount depends on preferred heat intensity
Mix together and store in tight container for up to 6 months.
