F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of The Great Gatsby, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Tender is the Night to name a few, had a true passion for gin. It is rumored that he believed that you could not detect the smell of gin on one’s breath. He loved the refreshing taste of the Gin Rickey so much that his most prolific character, Jay Gatsby, shared Fitzgerald’s fondness within the pages of The Great Gatsby. Fitzgerald once said “First you take a drink, then the drink takes a drink, then the drink takes you.” So let the Gin Rickey take you to a place of refreshing bliss.
