Spanish Harlem Cocktail Recipe

You love a good Manhattan, but why not expand your horizons to the northeast part of the island? With a good anejo tequila, this cocktail provides a complexity as vast as the NYC subway system – with less of an odor. Please don’t skimp on the tequila with this one. You need the bold, oaky and peppery sweetness of an anejo (or extra anejo for those with deeper pockets) to really give this drink the palate it deserves. Keep your Dia de los Muertos classy this year with a Spanish Harlem Cocktail.

Spanish Harlem

2 oz Anejo Tequila

1 oz Sweet Vermouth

3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Luxardo Maraschino Cherry for Garnish

Stir all ingredients 26 times with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with one Luxardo cherry.
