Kanye West’s 6 Most RIDICULOUS (Yet Hilarious) Rants

Kanye West has a lot of ridiculous, yet hilarious moments, including throwing major shade at Wiz Khalifa on Twitter to interrupting Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs. The rapper turned designer even compared himself to Shakespeare. We wish we were making this stuff up, but the rapper’s rants are pure comedy. We’ve rounded up a few of Yeezy’s most insane public outbursts that made us say, “WTF?”

After Kanye humiliated Tay-Tay back in 2009, the two artists reunited at the 2015 MTV VMA’s. This time around, they were close friends and things really came full circle. The “Bad Blood” singer presented Kanye with the Vanguard Award that night. His 11-minute acceptance speech will go down in history, especially because he announced that he would run for president in 2020.

Speaking of presidents, Kanye was not a fan of George W. Bush when he was in office. When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Yeezy threw everyone off, including Mike Myers and Chris Tucker, when he completely went off script during a telecast for the hurricane relief. We will never forget when Kanye blasted the president at the time and claimed George Bush "didn’t care about black people." Ouch!

Kanye is no stranger when it comes to lashing out during interviews. During an intense interview with Sway on the Sirius XM Sway Show, Kanye went off on a rant about how he’s the “most impactful artist” of today. He compared himself to Nike, Google, and even Shakespeare. Sway’s reaction is priceless and the radio host couldn’t help but chuckle. The interview gets heated between Kanye and Sway, and the rapper loses control of his temper.

Let’s not forget that the rapper claimed to be a God in one of his songs and dissected the meaning behind it during a BBC Radio interview. “Everybody says who does he think he is?’” Kanye continues, “I just told you… a God… that’s who I think I am.” The artist received backlash for calling himself Yeezus, which sounded like his version of Jesus. Surprisingly, the name stuck.

More recently, we couldn’t keep our eyes off Twitter when Kanye started an EPIC Twitter war with Wiz Khalifa. To make matters worse, it all happened over a misunderstanding. Yeezy thought Wiz’s tweet was referring to Kim Kardashian when he wrote, “KK,” which we later discovered was a weed reference. Kanye tweeted things like, “You let a stripper trap you,” which was a blow to Amber Rose (Kanye and Wiz’s ex). Kanye also tweeted, “I own your child,” only to retract his statements and write, “All I want is peace and positive energy.” Kim and Amber squashed the beef by sharing a selfie, and hours later Kanye tweeted, “Me and Wiz spoke yesterday. Great convo. All positive.” Love him or hate him, Kanye’s rants are hilarious!
