Just when you thought people couldn’t get any more uptight and lame, this ice cream shop’s sexy cow logo has come under fire for being too sexy. Yup, a cartoon cow has been deemed too sexy by the residents of Montclair, New Jersey and they want it to change or be taken down completely.
The logo in question is for the ice cream shop, Dairy Air, and it features a cow with bedroom eyes and a big old booty. Not sure what else you should expect from an ice cream shop named “Dairy Air,” but the people are ticked off about the whole situation.
Amy Tingle wrote an open letter regarding the logo which includes claims like, “This kind of marketing scheme is the reason we currently have a sexual predator in the White House,” and “A hyper-sexualized, obviously female cow with her a– upended and poking through a circle, tail raised up, waiting for what? I’m not sure, but I do know that I am repulsed and offended.”
Since the controversy began, the owner of Dairy Air, Anthony Tortoriello, has made sure the shop’s online presence has evaporated and its Instagram has been set to private.
Natalie DeRosa, the ice cream store’s manager responded by saying, “We have heard the complaints. We take them very seriously and we are acting to change the cow to be more fun and less sexy. Our goal was always fun and not sexy.”
It’s officially confirmed. There is no sense of humor left in the world.
