If you thought tattoos were silly and aren’t as meaningful as people say they are, this is the story for you. Using new technology that can read audio information, this woman got a tattoo that plays voicemail her grandmother sent her right before she died.
Sakyrah Angelique held on to the voicemail her grandmother sent her for nearly three years, not wanting to delete it, but not sure what else she could exactly do with it.
Then she discovered an app called Skin Motion that can read audio waveforms with just a picture.
The technology is quite complicated, and once Angelique posted the video of her new tattoo, many people were curious as to how it could possibly work. After quite a few comments, an explanation was given by one of the commenters.
This heartfelt tribute to her grandmother is a great way for Angelique to forever remember her dearly departed. Plus, the Internet is going wild over the concept and her tweet has received tons of likes, comments, and retweets.
It’s certainly a unique way to pay tribute to your lost loved ones. I’m certain we’ll be seeing more things like this in the future. It’s just too cool!
