As good as Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is at basketball, he might be an even better person.

And an almost-as-good rapper.

Lillard's rapping alter ego Dame D.O.L.L.A., who plans to release a full album, released a music video for his hopeful and socially conscious track "Bigger Than Us" on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The two-time All-Star says the song preaches positivity in the face of adversity.

"Everything that happens goes both ways," he told the NBA A to Z podcast during an MLK Day special. "We will never know every single fact. That's the main reason I just look at being positive, everyone standing as one. … When you stand together, a lot more can always be accomplished."
