Demetrious Johnson: I Could Beat Brock Lesnar, And Here’s How

Take a samurai sword and slice Brock Lesnar in two, and each half still has more mass than Demetrious Johnson.

If you’re actually going to test this assertion, I recommend being as stealthy as possible and perhaps attacking in Lesnar’s sleep, because if he gets his hands on you, it’s all over.

Unless you’re comparable in size—or Demetrious Johnson.

Nicknamed “Mighty Mouse” for his 5’3″, 125-pound frame, the UFC flyweight champion is convinced he could beat a (full-size) Brock Lesnar in the octagon.

“Obviously size can be a huge factor. But his skill is nowhere near my level,” Johnson told TMZ, referring to the 6’3″, 265-pound Lesnar. “So I’m going to blast him in the liver. Liver kicks all day. I’ll do what Alistair Overeem did. Just blast kicks, blast kicks, blast kicks. Hopefully, one of those liver shots puts him down, man. … It’s a liver shot. If you hit anybody in the liver at the right spot, or you hit him in the liver, they’re going to go down regardless. The liver seizes and it just shuts the whole body down. Then I’ll jump on Brock’s back and then choke him out.”

Fans of Game of Thrones know speed and agility can best size in a clash of fighting styles, so long as Johnson doesn’t get cocky like Oberyn Martell did in his trial by combat with Gregor Clegane.

Plus, it’s not like we haven’t seen Johnson pull off some seriously unheard of shit before before.

We need this fight.
