Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant scored three touchdowns in his squad's 42-21 victory over the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

Two were of the spectacular variety, and the other was downright out of the ordinary—the seven-year NFL veteran connected with tight end Jason Witten for the first touchdown pass of Bryant's career.

"We've been working on that about five or six weeks, maybe a little longer," Bryant said of the play after the win. "You know how you practice plays and sometimes you don't run them? I did not think we were going to call that play. And we did, and we made it happen."

A quarter earlier, Bryant made a ridiculous touchdown catch despite a defensive pass interference penalty.

The two-time Pro Bowler added his third score in the final period to give his team a 21-point lead that would stand the rest of the way.

Bryant finished the day with four grabs for 70 yards.
