Coming off a masterful offensive performance two days earlier, Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade did not show up on either end of the court in Game 6 as his squad was eliminated from the playoffs by the Boston Celtics.
Wade connected on just one field goal in 10 attempts and did not register a free-throw try, finishing with two points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 19 minutes. The team was outscored by 27 with the 35-year-old on the floor. In the 29 minutes without him, his Bulls outscored the Celts by five, en route to losing 105-83.
Missed shots are one thing, but the defensive effort put forth by Wade was nothing short of laughable.
Though he filled up the box score in Game 5 for 26 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, his D in that defeat was similarly nonexistent.
The 14-year veteran has a player option for the 2017-18 season.
