It would appear Joel Embiid is determined to start a feud with every center in the Eastern Conference.

Monday’s target: Andre Drummond, who got an up-close view of the Philadelphia 76ers big man’s 30-point night against his Detroit Pistons.

“Defensively, he doesn’t play any defense,” Embiid told the Philadelphia Enquirer of Drummond after a 97-86 win for the 76ers. “When we started the game, he was being aggressive and he was talking, too. … So what I was like [in my mind] ‘You want to do that? I’m going to kick your [butt] then.’ So that’s what I did.”

He added: “In my mind, I was like, ‘You want to switch up, because you are playing against me. You want to be all physical and talk [trash].’ So I was like, ‘You are going to get our [butt beat].’ I love that.”

Drummond responded on Twitter, noting referring to the teams’ next meeting, on December 2.

During the preseason, Embiid sparked a rift with Miami Heat big man Hassan Whiteside after drawing three fouls on Whiteside in the first three minutes of a contest and screaming “He can’t guard me!” to the Miami bench.

That led to this fun social media spat.

Let’s pray the man who’s logged 34 games since being drafted in 2014 will be good to go on the second day of December.
