The battle between baseball’s largest and smallest stars ended up not even being close. At least in the race for American League MVP, size didn’t matter: Jose Altuve ended up crushing Aaron Judge for the AL crown.
The World Series-winning Houston Astros second baseman netted 27 of 30 first-place votes.

While New York Yankees fans didn’t take the Rookie of the Year’s losing out on the American League MVP award particularly well …
I have no doubt there’s an Anti Yankee bias from the writers. I don’t mind Altuve winning, but there’s no way in hell it should’ve been a blow out considering Judge beats him in all but 4 categories. 2006 all over again

That’s bs Altuve didn’t have a better season than Judge

I can swallow Altuve getting MVP, but based on the stats, that’s much of a gap. Judge was beat in 3 categories (BA, Hits and K’s), but Judge killed him with walks. Altuve +50 in hits/Judge +69 in walks…Judge got on base +19 more times. Knew they would split the ROY & MVP award. pic.twitter.com/tF0CDfUUYp

Seriously though Aaron Judge got ROBBED. Altuve got sympathy votes because he’s a midget and his city got mollywhopped by Harvey.

Guarantee if Judge was an Astro and Altuve was a Yankee then Judge wins. #YankeeBias

Judge sure did.

Yankees fans don’t deserve this guy.
