Josh Norman and Travis Kelce are two of the NFL’s more verbose players.

On Monday night, they met on the field.

Hard.

Early in the second quarter of the Chiefs’ tilt with the Redskins, the Kansas City tight end performed one of his famed over-the-top celebrations right in front of the Washington corner.

A play later, Norman made Kelce pay in the form of pain.

Even Kelce had to give the 2015 All-Pro some props in the form of applause.

A few plays later, Norman left the field with a rib injury, though we don’t know if he sustained the injury on his hit on Kelce or not.

Either way, it was a big blow for Washington, whose secondary depleted throughout the contest.

On the Chiefs’ next possession, Kelce found the end zone. More impressive than his catch over the middle, however, was his end zone celebration.

The dance joins a long list of memorable Kelce celebrations.

The 2016 All-Pro led all receivers in the contest with seven catches and 111 receiving yards.

The teams were tied at 17 heading into the fourth quarter, when Kansas City outscored Washington 12-3 for a 29-20 victory to start the season 4-0.

“It’s a testament,” Kelce said of the team’s performance in the final period. “It lets everybody in the league know that we finish. You know, it’s a gut check once you get into the fourth quarter and it’s something that we pride ourselves on.”
