According to Cleveland.com:
Love said Olynyk has reached out multiple times and he acknowledged not returning any of his calls. He’ll save that conversation for down the road. Right now, he has more important business to tend to.
“All I’m focused on is getting healthy right now,” he said.
Following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ series victory against Boston, Love stated he believed Olynyk injured him on purpose calling it “a bush-league play.” Love is obviously still bitter about the play that’s left him sitting for the remainder of the postseason. Do you think it was on purpose?
Love was interested in playing for the Celtics last offseason, but was pulled away by the Cavs after LeBron James took his talents back to Cleveland. With Love potentially opting out of his contract in the coming offseason, he could be back on the market again. Its possible Olynyk’s arm pulling may have dissuaded Love from looking into Boston again. Only his arm remains in Beantown.
It’s going to be a long offseason with Kelly standing outside of Love’s house throwing rocks at the window. Open up Kevin, he just wants to talk! Show some Love!
