LeBron James Believes Draymond Green Crossed the Line in Game 4

LeBron James was cool, calm and collected when he reached the podium after his team’s loss in Game 4, even with the cloud of a 3-1 deficit hanging overhead. But he had an answer prepared when the inevitable question came up about his altercation with Draymond Green.

Late in the fourth quarter, when the game was pretty much out of reach but emotions were running high, James and Green got tangled up around midcourt. And like many other times this postseason, Draymond made sure to take a shot at his opponent's private parts.

We’ll have to wait and see if the league takes action, but if the last two rounds are any indication, they won’t do anything.

However, LeBron was more upset with the words Draymond used on the court that “went a little bit overboard,” as he calmly told reporters after the game.

But James was only calm because he blew off steam in the locker room after the final buzzer, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard; he wasn’t happy with the refs.

We found out exactly what Green told him on the court.

It’s obvious part of Cleveland’s strategy heading into Game 4 was to play physical with Draymond, who is just a flagrant foul away from a suspension. They clearly got him fired up, but it wasn’t enough to earn the win or get him kicked out of the game.

As for Green, the league would be turning a blind eye if they don’t choose to suspend him at this point. I gave Draymond the benefit of the doubt after his first nutshot on Steven Adams, but how many more testicles need to be damaged before the NBA finally suspends him for playing dirty?
