Ohio State Football Coach: LaVar Ball Stole My Logo for Lonzo Ball’s Signature Shoe

The $495 Big Baller Brand ZO2 sneakers that supposedly belong to projected No. 2 NBA draft pick Lonzo Ball but are mostly the brainchild of his father, LaVar Ball, promptly got roasted after being unveiled to the public on Thursday.

But even the most gleeful LaVar detractors had to admit: The new logo on the back of the shoe actually looks legit—which can't be said for the rest of the shoe, BBB's original logo, or just about anything LaVar says.

However, it looks like the only good part of Lonzo's signature kicks wasn't even his or his dad's doing—it appears the new logo was ripped off from Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith, who nicknamed his receiving corps Zone 6 and gave them a logo and everything.

Someone noticed the similarities between the two symbols and called the Balls out.

Hours later, Smith himself did the same.

Then Smith kicked things up a notch by updating his Twitter bio to include himself as the designer of the Big Baller Brand shoe—and (probably intentionally) misspelled "Lonzo" as "Lorenzo."
