Making his fifth professional start, Rams rookie quarterback Jared Goff completed 13-of-25 passes for just 135 yards, though at this point any game he endures without turning the ball over is a small victory.
Unfortunately, he didn't endure the whole game, as he was finally truly welcomed to the league on a massive hit from Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman.

After the game, Sherman said he didn't appreciate the rookie's thinking he could run for a touchdown.
"There was a little disrespect in [Goff’s] running style, he was acting like he was getting a freebie to the end zone," Sherman told the NFL Network after his team's victory. Goff was sacked four times, bringing his total to 15 through five contests.
Goff is being examined for a concussion.
“I admire his courage, but he’s got to get out of bounds,” said interim head coach Jim Fassel, filling in for the recently fired Jeff Fisher.
