There have been talks about Ronda Rousey heading to the WWE for quite some time now. The former UFC champ is a longtime fan of the product and has even appeared at a previous WrestleMania alongside The Rock.
But now, Rousey is in talks with WWE about having a high-profile match on this year’s WrestleMania, and then potentially becoming a full-time member of the WWE roster. That’s news that will excite wrestling fans across the world.
The original plan for Rousey was to have a match at Survivor Series alongside her compatriots Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir to take on Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Bayley, who were all present at WWE’s Mae Young Classic Tournament. But it’s now looking like Rousey will instead go toe-to-toe with Charlotte Flair in a match at Wrestlmania 34.
Seems like a match made in heaven. The legendary Ronda Rousey taking on the daughter of the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. Charlotte has been seen as a dominant champion in WWE and Rousey’s reputation speaks for itself. Hopefully it will all work out and we get to see some history!
