Stephen A. Smith Ripped Apart After Another Incredibly Dumb Tweet

Stephen A. Smith is paid to watch sports. He's also, according to Stephen A. Smith, a "die-hard New York Yankees fan."

Who apparently, despite being such a supporter, didn't know the name of the Yanks' closer. Nor did Smith know that the closer in question, Andrew Miller, has been one of the best in the game all year.

During New York's crucial extra-innings victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night, Miller gave up a solo home run to Dioner Navarro to level the score at 3-3 in the ninth inning.

That elicited this tweet from Smith.

Someone should let him know that the blown save was only Miller's second of the season in 36 chances—a better percentage than all but two of Mariano Rivera's 13 seasons since the blown save became a stat in 2002.
