Weeks ago, embarrassing Chicago Bears head coach John Fox said rookie running back Tarik Cohen hadn’t been seeing as much of the field as fans would like because of a limited familiarity with the team’s playbook.

So in the second quarter of the Bears‘ Week 13 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, Cohen drew up his own circuitous path to the end zone on a 61-yard punt return.

The rookie running back entered the matchup week with 534 yards from scrimmage—262 on the ground (on four yards per carry), and 272 in the air on 35 catches, his specialty.

At halftime, the Bears lead the 49ers, 14-9.
