Celebrities Who Had It All But Lost It All (And Some Who Got It All Back)
We’ve all heard stories about celebrities who went from rags to riches. But there are also plenty of celebs who went from rags to riches and then back to rags.
So here’s a list of celebrities who lost it all after they fell from their proverbial pedestal and found themselves living a humble, simple life.
It’s almost like watching Cinderella in reverse.
Corey Haim

“The Lost Boys” star was said to have been so broke that he filed for bankruptcy in 1997, according to his friend, actor Corey Feldman. Haim owed the IRS $100,000 and was so freaking broke that in 2001, he allegedly tried selling his hair and tooth on eBay, (yes really!). The frequent drug user passed away on March 10, 2010.
Tonya Harding

At the 1994 Olympics, Tonya Harding was one of the biggest names in women’s competitive skating alongside Nancy Kerrigan. Until one day, a man attacked Nancy with a bat and damaged her knee to keep her from competing. We later learned that the attack was Tonya’s idea.
Tonya ended up getting banned for life at the U.S. Figure Skating Association, getting stripped of her titles, and getting probation. Wowza!
Lena Headey

The actress from the hit show “Game of Thrones,” once only had $5,000 in her account. Even though she plays royalty on TV, Lena Headey is just like us in real life. Thanks to a messy divorce in 2013, she was living on credit, and barely had “$5 to her name.” But, as of July 2017, Lena Headey managed to claw her way back to a healthier financial situation.
Michael Jackson

The late king of pop refused to return to his 2,900-acre Neverland Ranch after being accused and acquitted of child molestation charges. But the court of public opinion did a number on the singer. He was also almost $23.
5 million in the hole in loans in 2007. The estate went up for auction, but MJ transferred the title to Sycamore Valley Ranch Company LLC in 2008.
