It all started when farmer and fisherman Gilberto ‘Chito’ Shedden was on the banks of Reventazón River. It was a peaceful day, but he had no idea that he was in grave danger. Right in his path, a huge crocodile was staring at him.

A Morning Stroll

Back in 1989, Chito was walking close to the river, when he locked eyes with a crocodile. But, instead of being attacked by one of the most terrifying predators in the world, he got friends with it. Wait, what? Yes, you read that right.

How did that moment end up with the man and the croc becoming best buddies? Wait until you see the whole story!

A Fierce Hunter
