Couple Finds Old Metal Box In Their Garden, Turns Out To Be A Safe And Is Full Of Diamonds

Who doesn’t dream of finding buried treasures? Well, a man in Staten Island wasn’t even thinking that he’d find one, let alone stumbling upon it in his backyard! He ignored for few years something that wasn’t even buried in his yard.

It was right in front of him, a rusted box, out in the open. What did he think of it for the past years? He assumed it was an old electrical cabinet, but instead it was something completely different.

Wait until you hear the entire story – just opening it released a chain of events we’d never thought to be possible!

The House in Todt Hill

Matthew Emanuel and his family lived in Todt Hill, Staten Island for four years. All those years passed without him, his wife Maria, or their son knowing that their property had a secret.

So far, they decorated and explored all of their yard, but one corner was left unexplored. It was that exact place that would soon unravel a series of mysteries…

A Rusted Box

Right by the side of their fence there was a rusted box, looking so random and untouched or moved for a very long time. Poison ivy covered it, so nobody really wanted to touch it. However, fate had something else in store for this old box.

Here’s where things started to change.

Rough Weather

Usually, that one thing you don’t want to do in the yard, you’re forced to do it because of the weather. The winter at the beginning of 2018 was very harsh, causing the trees near the fence to fall over the box.

The vegetation was compromised, so they planned to have it fixed as soon as spring came…

A New Garden

Then, hungry deer came and ate the rest of the plants. The arborvitae trees and the other vegetation was now missing and the yard was exposed.

You could see everything from the street, so Mr. Emanuel called a horticulturist to plant some exotic plants and make their yard beautiful once again.

Now that box was sticking out of the greenery and it wasn’t quite a nice image…
