Even though it might not seem like it at times, the world is filled with good people. Chris Mathis who recently inherited a pawn shop from his late father is one of them.

Chris noticed that there are 40 saving bonds that haven’t been cashed in and that they are worth more than their original value.

Instead of looking to make a quick profit, Chris decided to track down the people who owned the bonds and give them back.

The pawn shop is called Jack & Dick’s and it has been around for more than 50 years. Chris grew up in the pawn shop and he knew all the ins and outs of running the family business.
