You might already know every haunted house there is in your state, but what about the nooks and crannies of creepiness? There are probably places you’re familiar with that you didn’t realize are haunted.

Stanley Hotel, Colorado
If you’ve ever seen “The Shining,” then you might recognize the Stanley Hotel. The sinister movie was based off of the real events that are known to take place in this hotel in Colorado.
With no fewer than 4 ghosts at any given time roaming the halls, paranormal activity is seeping through the walls.
The Fairweather Inn, Montana
In all fairness, the entire city of Virginia City, Montana is a ghost town. It’s no surprise that it would be crawling with paranormal activity— and the hub of it all is The Fairweather Inn.
Guests to this day have reported strange sightings of apparitions, loud noises and the scent of perfume wafting through the air.
Fort East Martello Museum, Florida
Similar to the story of “Annabelle,” Robert the Doll is known to cause mischief at the Fort East Martello Museum in Florida. He and his creator, Gene Otto, were close growing up.
It wasn’t until Otto’s death that the doll’s strange behavior became commonplace. Robert is known to follow conversations with his facial expressions, move from one place in the museum to the next and cause cameras to malfunction.
Olde Pink House, Georgia
The Olde Pink House in Georgia used to be a regular mansion with red brick that bled through the white paint, owned by the Habersham family. James Habersham Jr., in particular, was known for his hospitality.
While the Olde Pink House is currently a restaurant, the ghost of James Habersham Jr. is said to roam about the mansion and make sure current owners are laying down the charm.
