Because these historic places and objects are very unique and important, the governments are doing their best to make sure they stay intact and in perfect condition.

However, some teenagers didn’t seem to care much about this historic landmark and totally ruined it. Very soon, the incident ended up all over the news and the vandals were about to be in big trouble.
The Brimham Rocks
The Brimham Rocks, located in Yorkshire is one of the most precious landmarks in the whole United Kingdom. Known as an Area of Outstanding Beauty, they’re over 320 million years old.
Everyone loved this place and it was visited by tourists almost every day. It’s really hard to accept the fact that this landmark stayed intact for such a long period just to be ruined by some careless teenagers. But, what really happened?

Well, a few teenagers decided to go visit the landmark but obviously couldn’t care less about it so they acted very recklessly, damaging the rocks. To everyone’s regret, the damage was so bad, it was irreparable.
As the police were looking for the people responsible for this, the locals were so furious they were demanding huge fines for the vandals. But, was the justice really served?
Dating From Way Back
According to archaeologists, the Brimham Rocks are so old, they date back as far as the ice age. Considered to be one of the most iconic places to visit in the UK, these rocks were very important to the local people who were taking care of them all these years.
They also made sure that the place was always clean and tidy and were doing frequent cleanup actions so that the visitors could always enjoy the views without looking at the trash.
But they would soon be horrified by seeing what happened to this beautiful place.
