One involves putting them in the dishwasher. But, it’s not just to give them a good, easy rinse before cooking. They also don’t all have to revolve around eating.

If there’s a broken light bulb that won’t come out of the socket, no problem!

First, make sure the power is off. Second cut a tater in half and press it into the broken bulb. It will let you turn it out safely!

Don’t throw out any pots, pans, or cutlery that’s rusted or grimy!

Cut a potato in half, dip it in baking soda, and then give things a good scrub. Pros? It’s cheap and environmentally friendly. Cons? It’s hard to get around small section, and it’s not good for super rusty surfaces.

Make environmentally friendly stamps for kids crafts (even adult crafts)!

Make sure you cut out the “stamp” with enough depth that the outside of the potato doesn’t get any paint on it. It’s especially great if you want to get in to crafts on a budget.

It’s not that you NEED to cook potatoes in the dishwasher.

It’s more so that you CAN, if you wanted to. Since the water gets to boiling levels, simply wrap up your tater and make sure it’s sealed. Oh, and obviously don’t add other dishes or any detergent.
