Actors Who Got Fired From Their TV Shows

It’s hard to believe any actor could make their bosses fire them the height of their fame. But some of these celebrities totally managed to completely fumble the ball and absolutely ruin their reputations.

Not to mention any hope of finding work again. So here are some actors who lost their jobs on TV shows, and some of the reasons behind them deserve a serious eyeroll.

Musician Drake started out as Jimmy on “Degrassi” but was kicked off in 2009 after producers learned that he was staying up late to record music. The Powers that be then gave him an ultimatum, which was either acting or music. He chose the latter and went to become a Grammy winner. Someone made the right move.

Edie Britt rubbed a lot of characters the wrong way. Unfortunately, rumors claimed that Sheridan, who played Eddie, was just as nasty off-screen.

But she was fired in 2009 after complaining that the show’s producer Marc Cherry allegedly hit her in the head. Sheridan then attempted to sue Cherry but lost in court.

Doherty was known for being a diva on “90210.” Apparently, she fought a lot with co-star Jennie Garth, including a physical fight that supposedly happened, which led to her alleged termination.

She later had issues with “Charmed” co-star Alyssa Milano which led to her leaving the show.

Katherine Heigl

Heigl was nominated for an Emmy for her role as Doctor Isobel Stephen in the hit medical drama. But she rejected the nomination claiming that her storyline was lackluster.

This pissed producer Shonda Rhimes off and after seemingly vanishing from the show during most of season 6, she returned to wrap up her storyline.
