Billie Lourd honored the memory of her mother Carrie Fisher in a truly spectacular way. The “Scream Queens” actress proved that no point in the galaxy was too far away to travel in order to deliver a fitting tribute on the one-year anniversary of her “momby’s” passing.

Sadly, Fisher died December 27 2016, just four days after she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during a long-haul flight from London to Los Angeles. To mark the sad date, the 25-year-old daughter of the iconic “Star Wars” actress traveled to Norway to view the famed northern lights alongside her father Bryan Lourd.

“My momby had an otherworldly obsession with the northern lights, but I never got to see them with her,” captioned Lourd in the emotional post. “We journeyed to northern Norway to see if we might “see the heavens lift up her dark skirts and flash her dazzling privates across [our] unworthy irises.” And she did. I love you times infinity. 🌜👙🌛”

The actress also payed tribute to her late mother on the premiere date of the newest installment of the epic “Star Wars” space opera franchise. Having worked together on “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” the December 15 release date was undoubtedly a fitting occasion to commemorate Fisher’s last big-screen appearance.
