After his mega-successful sweep of the 2018 Grammys, “That’s What I Like” hitmaker Bruno Mars was eager to give back to the fans that made his triumph possible. Riding the wave of his smash-hit crossover “Finesse” remix with “Bodak Yellow” rapper Cardi B, the singer-songwriter hopped on Twitter to tease fans with a tour announcement that would put the two stars on stage together once again.

“Annndddd…what if I told u imma bring my lil sis on tour so we can really turn your city upside down! Make this finale a party!!” wrote Mars.

Despite the fact that the “Locked Out of Heaven” chart-topper toured North America for five months in 2017 to promote his Grammy Award-winning album “24K Magic,”  Mars is clearly eager to hit the road once again for a multi-city victory lap.

Jumping on board with the plan, Cardi B took to Instagram to issue her response. “MhhhhhhmmmThat sounds like a great idea @brunomars ?,” wrote the rapper.

Continuing their social-media exchange, Mars then took to Twitter once more to celebrate Cardi B’s willingness to appear as a featured guest for the planned revival.

Just short of an official announcement, Mars then confirmed the second round of his North American tour only hours after he first teased the idea.

“Announcement Tomorrow!  I’m doin it!” wrote Mars.

With the Australian, Asian and European legs of his “24 K Magic” world tour still yet to be completed, fans will have to sit tight before seeing the “Finesse” collaborators live on stage together once again.
