Cole Sprouse, the full-time “Riverdale” star and part-time reigning king of Twitter witticisms is cashing in on the “FBI surveillance” meme that is currently taking social media by storm.

Lauded by fans for his off-color, quirky observations and professional trolling of brother Dylan on the microblogging platform, Sprouse proved that just like any other millennial, he can turn “deep state” surveillance into something to laugh at.

“Sometimes before I leave the house I wave to my laptop camera just to brighten the day of the FBI agent,” tweeted Sprouse in a tongue-in-cheek reference to the government monitoring his activity by hijacking his webcam.  “Friendliness is contagious you know.”

Happy to note that their favorite actor was still in touch with Internet culture despite living life in the Hollywood fast lane, fans took to Twitter to show their support of Sprouse jumping on the most popular meme of 2018 to date.

“See, I’m not the only one that thinks they watch us through our cameras 😂,” wrote one “Riverdale” stan.

We’re betting that the FBI agent on the receiving end of Sprouse’s amiable disposition is glad the actor hasn’t covered up his webcam with black tape.
