Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Obviously Broke Up For Attention, So Leave Them Alone On Twitter

For as much as Zayn Malik likes to brood and dismiss the glamor of the Hollywood Hills, the former One Directioner obviously doesn’t want to completely abandon the fast life of the rich and famous. If he really wanted to retreat into a cocoon of poetry (or Zoetry, rather) and guitar riff sessions, he would … because he can.

Undoubtedly, Malik bagged enough cash during his years-long tenure in the British boy band to comfortably enjoy a luxurious lifestyle for the rest of his days. Instead, the anti-celebrity who is far too “deep” to indulge in industry staples like self-promotion and red carpet events chose to dip back into the music world and link up with one of the most famous faces on the planet, Gigi Hadid. After their romance fell to pieces following the celebration of their two-year anniversary, #Zigi soon found themselves back in each other’s arms.

Obviously, a two-year relationship doesn’t just end on a whim. As both Hadid and Malik would of course handle their split with the knowledge that their breakup would sweep through the headlines, there’s no doubt that the end of their romance was far from spontaneous.

Also, did anyone else catch the fact that the end of #Zigi synced up PERFECTLY with the release of Malik’s new single “Let Me” (which also included a Hadid doppelganger, BTW)?

Pictured together just weeks after their split, it’s achingly evident that both parties were simply manipulating the tabloids for their own personal gain. Hadid for the added exposure and Malik for extra hype around his new music and rebranded image.

Sick of reading the hate spewed from her critics on Twitter, Hadid finally stepped up to the plate to let her followers know that she is completely unbothered by their opinions.

“lol to u and everyone who’s still salty three years later …. I get it, but u gotta realize at some point that your negativity towards me will not change anything,” she wrote. “Put your energy into something else babes- youre only gunna look back on your life & realize how much time u wasted.”

Is #Zigi little more than a couple of celebrities linking up to milk as much as possible from their time in the spotlight? Yes, but you’re wasting your time calling them out on their bullshit because they obviously don’t care.
