There’s a new Hollywood could-be-and-probably-is couple in singer-songwriter Charlie Puth and model Danielle Campbell. The “See You Again” singer was put on blast by his 1.7 million Twitter followers when he posted a screenshot of a FaceTime call with an “anonymous” celeb.
Puth, who shot to superstardom in 2015 has not been in the industry long enough to abide by two important Hollywood commandments: screenshots are forever, and if the Internet wants to find something out- it will.

Puthers were quick to point out that the person on the other end of the vid chat was almost certainly Campbell, as evidenced by the tiniest sliver of her name at the top of the screen. When fans started to go wild with speculations regarding their romance, Puth quickly took the picture down.
Shortly after the FaceTime incident, the singer slipped into the comments of one of Campbell’s smokin’ hot Instagram pics.
Puth’s seemingly innocuous “I like your hat” line prompted fans to dig deeper into their interactions on social media, noting that Campbell follows the “Attention” singer’s siblings, Stephen and Mikaela on IG. Of course, we have the receipts:
Surprising no one, Twitter ran with the revelation once more.
Even though the proof of their budding romance is rock solid, it looks like Puth won’t be confirming or denying their relationship anytime soon. During his recent appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the “One Call Away” singer had this to say about his public love life: “I’m actually not single right now,” he said. “I’m in a relationship… [but] I’m kind of done with dating people in the public.”
Puth’s sudden penchant for privacy comes as no surprise after his very public Twitter rant/breakup with ex Bella Thorne. Prior to this budding romance, Danielle Campbell was linked to One Direction heartthrob and “Back To You” singer Louis Tomlinson.
Here’s to refreshing Puth’s feeds and waiting for the singer to slip up once more, declaring his love for Campbell so loudly that it reaches every corner of the Twitterverse.
