“Riverdale” stars KJ Apa and Charles Melton are setting some serious bro-goals with their off-screen friendship. The “frenemy” vibes between the on-screen depiction of Apa’s Archie and Melton’s Reggie are given a good-natured spin in the duo’s off-screen relationship, while still maintaining its competitive edge.

Their undeniable chemistry of the KJ Apa and Charles Melton bromance blossomed almost immediately after Melton replaced Ross Butler as Reggie for the show’s second season.

#Rarchie has found a permanent home in the “Riverdale” fanbase, an OTP-shipfest that has only intensified with Apa and Melton’s IRL Instagram feeds. The actors snap pics together everywhere from coffee shops, to charity soccer games, to their favorite shared pastime- hitting the gym and sculpting their already drool-worthy physiques.

#Rarchie fans went wild when Melton captioned this early-morning brew stop, “Brokeback mountains.” (You know, the Academy Award-winning movie about two guys that were in love with each other but couldn’t admit it.)

Apa even has his own pet name for their pairing: “the boyos,” as seen in the above-captioned IG pic outlining yet another one of their gym sessions.  The New Zealand actor revealed to E! News that their shared passion for slingin’ sweat and pumping iron is one of the reasons why the two have quickly developed such a strong bond: “”We’re very similar. We’re very competitive as well, and you can tell a lot about a person by how hard they work in the gym,” Apa said. “I think it’s awesome to be able to play with someone who works out as hard as you do.”

Keep it locked on the duo’s IG pages to see Melton and Apa’s IRL bromance blossom and be sure to check out “Riverdale” Wednesdays on The CW to see what’s next for #Rarchie.
