Just because former (boy) band mates Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are total #BroGoals, that doesn’t mean the duo is exempt from a good-natured Twitter roast session. The friendly feud comes only days after Tomlinson calling out Horan’s totally justified fear of the Netflix 80s-themed horror series “Stranger Things” by poking fun at his low-thrill threshold.

After Horan admitted the show made him “hide behind a pillow,” Tomlison replied with this quick-witted tweet about the flick being a quasi-children’s show.

The ribbing continued as Tomlinson returned to his roots and tucked in for a solid binge-watch of “The X Factor.” After the “Back to You” singer voiced his opinion on the Price brothers’ rendition of Sean Paul’s remix of Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” he tweeted: “I like these little Irish lads but enough with the rapping.”

Irish-born Horan took offense to the call-out and told Tomlinson that even though he’s now known for his soulful acoustic vibe, he can still “spit bars.”

Check out the rest of the exchange between between the former 1D-ers below:

The Twitter war ended with Horan teasing the release of a mixtape in direct competition of “DJ Tommo” dropping a rap-infused track. Thankfully, their spat was all in good fun as both Horan and Tomlinson have gone out of their way to congratulate the other on their solo efforts following 1D’s hiatus.

Drop a comment below about which pop star you think could hold their own on a hip-hop track- Tomlinson or Horan?
