How many times does Nicki Minaj have to use the truth to drag her critics before haters take note? From Remy Ma’s less-than-impressive comeback record to Lil Kim fading into dance meme obscurity, the Queens-bred rapper never fails to body her detractors.
Making Nicki Minaj the bad guy backfires.
Lil Kim is out of a career.
Remy Ma was left unheard of.
Trey Songz who?
Meek Mill, Charlagmagne, Dj Envy are all being dragged.

As a solid supporter of everything Minaj has done to thrust femcee-led hip-hop back into pop culture, I admittedly send the industry leader big ups every time she sets the record straight with her endless catalogue of receipts that back up the game she spits. Sick of seeing their leader dragged over untruths and harmful allegations, the #Barbz stepped out in full force after Meek Mill had the audacity to slam his ex-girlfriend on the nationally syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club.”

“I wasn’t feeling that. [Minaj] shouldn’t have said nothing and we leave it at that,” the rapper admitted after DJ Envy falsely accused Minaj of praising her ex-beau’s prison sentence. “I don’t feel no way … you know I wasn’t feeling that. When it comes to freedom, I don’t care who it is — this could be Safaree, this could be anybody — if I know something, and that man’s freedom is on the line and I could say something to help the situation, I’m gonna say it. If I don’t say it, I just won’t say nothing.”
Unfortunately for Meek Mill and hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, Minaj actually threw ZERO shade while referencing the rapper’s legal troubles.
Nicki Minaj spoke on Meek Mill’s incarceration
During the interview that was put on blast during Meek Mill’s recent radio appearance, Minaj spoke to Zane Lowe about her ex’s incarceration by issuing a carefully worded and neutral response.
“I will say that the judge in question did everything I asked of her,” said Minaj, referring to Judge Genece Brinkley’s decision to put Meek Mill under house arrest rather than send him to prison after he violated his probation back in 2016. “So, I can’t bad-mouth her because I met her personally, and I know what she said to us. And he knows that, and I know that.”
Meek Mill speaking ill of Nicki Minaj after this woman testified for him in COURT and reached out to OBAMA to help him is the foulest thing, I swear if this ain’t the epitome of MEN AIN’T SHIT.

Stepping up their defense, the #Barbz hopped onto Instagram to issue Minaj-approved receipts of the rapper’s ACTUAL actions directed at her ex-beau’s legal battle.
So yes, Minaj did respond when prompted about Meek Mill’s incarceration. But don’t get it twisted and slam the “Chun-Li” rapper for words she never spoke when she was actually out here riding for an ex that she owed absolutely nothing to.
