Nostalgic ’70s to ’90s Women Today
There are plenty of ladies who have shown up and changed how we perceived TV. From the ’70s, ’80s, and even the ’90s, we have seen some of the best female stars of all time.
These women have used their skill, talent, and charm to make an impact on the entertainment industry as a whole, as well as bring change to the world around them.
Even after their “prime”, some of these women from the big screen continue to leave their mark on the world of entertainment to this day.
Dame Helen Lydia Mirren
Dame Helen Lydia Mirren was born in the year 1945, which makes her one of the oldest women on this list, however, do not let that fool you, as her career is filled with success, from the very start with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1967, and she is one of the few performers who achieved the Triple Crown of Acting.
She has also won an Oscar along with 123 other awards, and was nominated over 125 times for other various awards.
Tina Turner
Tina Turner, also known by her real name Anna Mae Bullock was born in the year 1939. The 79-year-old diva is one of the world’s best-selling recording artists of all time – she is referred to as “The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” with good reason.
This is due to the fact that she has sold over 200 million records on a worldwide scale. Mick Jagger hired her and asked her to join the Rolling Stone’s UK tour of 1969, and she even claims that Jagger copied some of her dance moves.
Jeanine Pirro
Jeanine Pirro is a TV personality who was formerly a judge and prosecutor. Her legal career started all the way back in 1994 when she became a District Attorney for Westchester County.
She was also the Judge of Worchester Country Court all the way back in 1993. After several guest appearances, she started her talk show named Justice with Judge Jeany in 2011.
She got married to Albert Pirro in 1975, after which they sadly got divorced in 2013.
Catherine Bach
Catherine Bach is one of the most popular American actresses and is known for her role as Daisy Duke on the TV series of a similar name, The Dukes of Hazzard. At this point, she earned $1 million.
However, after the show ended, she refused to feature in high-profile films until 2012 when she joined the cast of The Young and the Restless. We expect to see a lot more out of her, and we do not see any signs of stopping.
