If two people enter into a relationship without making a post to mark the occasion on social media, is it even real? With the virtual hype behind sharing everything from a well-lit snap of your pizza to airing your ex’s dirty laundry, your relationship status isn’t secured until it is made “Instagram Official.”
For celebs who are constantly forced to confirm or deny alleged romances if they are spotted even locking eyes with a co-star for too long, giving the social media stamp of approval is even more important. “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland recently took the publicly-in-love plunge with former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams, bumping their status up from rumored beaus. Twenty-six-year-old Hyland made the first move, posting a goofy candid of the couple with the caption, “He puts up with me 😝❤️.”
True to trend, Adams then posted a romantic snap of the two sharing a “Back lit AF”embrace:
While speculation about their budding romance has been intensifying since both Hyland and Adams posted photos from their shared-theme Halloween costumes (Dustin and Eleven from “Stranger Things”) the “Bachelor In Paradise” alum was rumored to be linked to Danielle Maltby. Thankfully, Adams’ former co-star swiftly replied to the fans implying there was some sort of love triangle, commenting: “Are you kidding me? I ship this couple SO hard! I’ve never seen Wells so giddy and happy! Try spreading some love instead of knocking down one of the cutest and most genuine coupling I’ve seen in a long time.”
Adams is Hyland’s first BF after splitting from her “Vampire Academy” co-star Dominic Sherwood after more than two years of dating.
